The December month is here. And I am personally a December lover, Since it is my birthday month as well as the month I tied a knot. Love spills and surprises all this month keep me hydrated with happiness. So this month I have decided to document all my winter looks for you guys. Ever Since I have turned my blog into a monthly journal emails came pouring in to write for different topics. I am catching up the speed to accommodate all the topic requests.
If you follow me on Instagram , You already know that I love minimalist fashion and style. Writing about affordable and accessible styles has been the agenda since day one on The Chic Iconic, even though I treat myself with occasional gifts and luxury brands. This time I chose to give myself a recyclable winter look along with providing some tips to you guys about how I repeat my summer wardrobe to style my winter.
Below is what I will be doing for most of this winters.
1. Pull out all my shirt dresses which are above my knee length from the wardrobe.
2. Pair them up with stockings , jeans or leggings.
3. Turning my casual look to formal or party look , I will be adding some shine/glitter in the form of accessories like gold strapped watch or earrings or an evening clutch.
4. Providing an accent to the whole outfit pairing up with a pop color. Can be either a bomber jacket or a winter coat in color pop.
The below Forest Green shirt dress is from Express and most of my shirt dresses are from Express. So this season if you have few pieces of shirt dresses in the wardrobe pull them out and reuse.
Keep following me on Instagram for everyday style files , lifestyle updates and daily perks. This winter look book series will be continued until the end of December. So keep watching this space for more looks this winter.
