This close to 100 mile stretch of coast road that hugs the pacific ocean on one side and mountains on the other side is quaint and never disappoints the tourists. Big Sur is most commonly visited on a road trip from Los Angeles to San Francisco. Its a 3.5 hour detour on the Los Angeles to San Francisco Highway. Highway 1 it is called. The undeniably gorgeous views fills you in with so much relaxation and rejuvenation. It is a treat to the eye of Nature lovers. We were on a road trip and Big Sur is always on my bucket list , so we had to top it this time. The Complete journey to Big Sur is a living dream with a scenic beauty. It just makes you pull off the road multiple times to capture the beauty of so many hidden coves.
